WordPress Developer

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and create dynamic and engaging websites and web applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites, plugins, and themes. They should also be able to implement third-party plugins, optimize website performance, and ensure websites are mobile-friendly.

Responsibilities:

• ✦Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes that meet client needs and requirements

• ✦Add custom post types and taxonomies to WordPress websites and web applications

• ✦Implement third-party plugins and APIs into WordPress websites and web applications

• ✦Optimize website performance and ensure that websites are responsive and mobile-friendly

• ✦Perform regular updates and maintenance on WordPress websites and web applications

• ✦Conduct website security audits and implement security measures to protect against hacking and malware attacks

• ✦Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress websites and web applications

• ✦Collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards

• ✦Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development.

Additional Responsibilities:

• ✦Develop WordPress plugins that extend WordPress functionality and meet specific client requirements

• ✦Integrate WordPress websites with third-party services and APIs

• ✦Create custom WordPress themes that reflect the client's brand and meet their design requirements

• ✦Promptly respond to any issues related to custom post types, plugins or third-party plugins, and quickly address and resolve any technical issues or bugs that may arise.

Qualifications:

• ✦Strong knowledge of WordPress development, including PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• ✦Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development

• ✦Familiarity with web development tools and technologies, such as Git, Gulp, and webpack

• ✦Understanding of web design principles and user experience

• ✦Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• ✦Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• ✦Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• ✦Good communication skills and ability to work with clients and stakeholders.
